You asked…

What does accidental damage cover give on buildings and contents insurance?

Answer

Our buildings insurance automatically covers accidental damage to cables, underground pipes and drains, fixed glass, baths basins and toilets. You can also extend your cover to include accidental damage for all parts of the building, to cover accidents like putting your foot through the ceiling when you're in the loft.

Our contents insurance automatically covers accidental damage to home entertainment equipment (such as TVs and computers), mirrors and glass in furniture. You can also extend your cover to include accidental damage for all your other contents, to cover accidents like spilling a drink on a carpet.
